Doğu Roma (Bizans) Kültür ve Medeniyetini tanıma, Doğu Roma kültür ve medeniyetinin Ön Asya kültür ve medeniyetine katkılarını bilme. Doğu Roma kültür ve medeniyetinin Türk ve İslam kültür ve medeniyeti üzerindeki etkilerini bilme. |

Roma tarihi ve kültür medeniyeti anlatılır. Roma'nın krallık, res publica ve imparatorluk dönemleri hakkında bilgi verilir. Roma kültür medeniyeti ve yönetim şekli hakkında bilgi verilir. Doğu Roma tarihi İstanbul şehrinin MS. VI. yüzyıldaki inşasıyla başlatılarak VII. yüzyılın ikinci yarısına kadar anlatılır. Roma ve Doğu Roma'nın Ön Asya coğrafyası üzerindeki varlığı üzerinde durulur. Doğu Roma'nın İran'la mücadelesi anlatılır. İran ve Roma arasındaki siyasi, sosyal, iktisadi ve dini ilişkiler üzerinde durulur. Doğu Roma'nın toplum ve devlet yapısı üzerinde durulur. Sosyal sınıflar (patrici, pleb, servus. .. gibi) ve bu sosyal sınıflar arasında meydana gelen gens, curia, tribus, centuria gibi sosyal ve siyasi yapılar hakkında bilgi verilir. Doğu Roma yönetim şekli (principatus, triumvira, tetrarkhia, dictatoria, imperium ... gibi), devlet yöneticileri (senator, concul, praetor ... gibi), hükümdar unvanları (caesar, augustus, basileus ... gibi) hakkında bilgi verilir. Doğu Roma'nın mali yapısı hakkında bilgi verilir ve mali teşkilatta görevli memuriyetler anlatılır. Doğu Roma yargı sistemi ve görevlileri hakkında bilgi verilir. Doğu Roma'nın dini yapısı hakkında bilgi verilir. Roma kültleri ve Roma triası (Iupiter, Uno, Minerva) hakkında bilgi verilir. Roma ve Doğu Roma dini yapısı üzerindeki Yunan, Mısır ve İran etkilerinden bahsedilir. Doğu Roma döneminde Hristiyanlığın resmi din haline gelinceye kadarki süreçte Doğu Roma'yla Hristiyanlık arasındaki ilişkileri üzerinde durulur. Doğu Roma'nın dini kurumları ve yöneticileri hakkında bilgi verilir. Doğu Roma üzerinde Grek etkisi anlatılır ve Doğu Roma'nın Yunanlaşma süreci hakkında bilgi verilir. Roma'dan Doğu Roma'ya devreden concul, praetor, quaestor, praefectus, magister officiorum ... memuriyetleri hakkında bilgi verilir. Doğu Roma'nın haberleşme ve casusluk teşkilatları hakkında bilgi verilir, bu teşkilatlarda çalışan görevliler tanıtılır. Doğu Roma yönetiminde kilisenin rolü hakkında bilgi verilir, psikoposlar ve patriklerin rolünden bahsedilir. Doğu Roma ordu teşkilatı hakkında bilgi verilir, ordu teşkilatının hiyerarşik yapısından bahsedilir. Doğu Roma coğrafyası üzerinde gerçekleşen dini tartışmalar hakkında bilgi verilir, bu dönemde gerçekleşen konsiller anlatılır. Doğu Roma'nın toprak ve vergi sisteminden bahsedilir. Doğu Roma'nın Ön Asya ülkeleriyle arasındaki ticari münasebetler anlatılır. Herakleios'un iktidarı döneminde Anadolu'da ortaya çıkan thema toprak sistemi hakkında bilgi verilir. |
